Dr Abikhnzer obtained his Doctorate in Dental Medicine in 2006 at Université de Montréal. His interest for dental surgery soared during his studies. He then undertook further training by attending an externship in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Massachussetts General Hospital (Harvard University) in Boston.
Following this accomplishment, Dr Abikhnzer began a multidisciplinary residency at Montreal’s Jewish General Hospital (McGill University). He then went to Florida to complete an internship in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Miami University. In 2008, he returned to Canada to undertake a residency in the same discipline at Toronto University. He achieved it in 2012.
During his residency at University of Toronto, Dr Abikhnzer took numerous courses, notably in management of temporomandibular disorders, bone grafting, implantology, management of infections, orthognatic surgery, pathology, anesthesia, and reconstruction of maxillofacial traumas. He is particularly interested in bone grafting and management of maxillofacial traumas. Dr Abikhzer is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada (RCDC).
Our clinic will open it's doors for all treatments starting June 1st.
